• two new doors: writing (nineteen pieces, with a karaoke style read-along) and meditate (a timer for sitting quietly).

what keeps it light

• One HTML file: no frameworks, no build step, no bundler.
• The sky photograph is gone, so the page is tiny again: just this markup and one font.
• One font family from Google Fonts, the only third party here. If your device already has Comic Sans MS, its letterforms are used without fetching any font file.
• The little sites load only when you first open their door, and stay loaded so switching back is instant.
• No analytics, no trackers, and no cookies from this page itself. german and piano bring their own little password cookie along inside their frames.

Claude's own suggestion list, written at build time and refreshed each deploy. The long version lives in Em's vault.

• Remember where you were: come back and land on the door you had open last time.
• A quiet link checker that knocks on every door daily and flags any that stop opening.
• A German hello, once Em can write it without leaning on a translation service.
• Live cursors (digital co-presence): visitors could wave at each other across the page. Durable Objects and WebSockets, budgeted as its own feature.
• One little search box that looks across all the doors at once.
• Phase 2 links back: a small "Em's full site" corner link on breathe, german, piano, and poems, hidden when framed. Still awaiting Em's word.
